Status

The site is currently undergoing a major overhaul.

Objectives

• Preserve the site's history and some of its content
• Modernise the code (historically in HTML3.2) and make it more compatible with modern browsers
• Use a ‘responsive design’ for better reading on mobiles
• Delete dead links

Known problems

• Some parts of the site were using Frames and need to be modernised
• Legacy HTLM contains many errors and is difficult to parse
• The site used audio files in .au (Sun audio) format, which is no longer supported.
• Encoding problems between iso-latin and utf8
• 404 errors: dead links to old sites that no longer exist
• Translation: some pages have not yet been translated
